Adding and Deleting Groups Accurate reporting relies on groups. A group gives you a key on which to refine a report or a search, whether it be stock, postcode, customer or supplier. So how do you add groups in AMWin Go to the Other menu, and click on maintenance. Select "Group" from the menu The following screen will be displayed. Note that the groups displayed here are for demonstration use only. A new system will not display any groups . 
Deleting a group To Delete a group select the required group and click the delete button. To add a group select insert The following screen will be displayed 
Left click on the down arrow next to the Type field, and choose from Customer, Stock, Job or Supplier- depending on the type of group you are inserting. Note that in the above image we have already clicked on the type "combo box" to display the different types of groups available to us. Now type in a group code. This can be anything that will enable you to recognise the group when you are searching or reporting. Check out the top image for some example groups. Now enter a brief description of the group Close the window and it's done. |
